GRADUATION PROCEDURES 1. A letter is sent from the Dean of Student Services to every student who has earned 45 credits or more in a degree or certificate. Each student must meet with a Counselor or Faculty Advisor to complete an audit to determine if all course requirements have been met by the end of the Spring semester in time for graduation. The audit information will be forwarded to the Registrar’s office for further action. 2. A graduation fee(current fee is $42.00) must be paid to the Bursar’s Office. The printed degrees are available for pick-up during the summer at the Registrar’s Office. 3. NOTE: A student may participate in the graduation ceremony owing one course toward the graduation requirement. The student is obligated to finish the one course requirement since failure to do so invalidates the audit. The course must be completed in the subsequent Summer of Fall semester. The degree is awarded once the course is completed. 4. All certificate requirements must be completed by the end of the Spring semester of graduation. The one course exception does not apply to certificate programs. For additional information regarding graduation, click here. |
