Why do I have to take non-credit courses?
A student takes non-credit courses after the placement test has been completed and indicates that specialized classes in English and Math would enhance the chances of passing credit courses. A majority of applicants who take the Accuplacer placement test find that they experience less difficulty in writing papers and passing Intermediate Algebra after completing the series of non-credit courses.
