Two pictures in the photography exhibit have a few things in common. They are both about children. One photo is titled "The Sadness We See," and the other one is titled "Girl Looking Through Picket Fence." In both pictures the children look sad and bored, as if they are looking at something, but can not participate. Also there are a few differences in the photos. In one photo there are four young boys looking off a porch. In the other photo there is a young girl looking through a picket fence. The young boys are standing with their arms folded. The little girl is trying to stick her head through the spaces in the fence. The look on the children's faces is of sadness and boredom and the sense of trying to get away from something. The way I see it, the point of these photos is that happiness and fulfillment are a fence or a porch away.
