NOTE:
Students must take the midterm exam and
final exam on campus. The midterm exam
will be on Friday, June 18th from 1-4:00pm.
The final exam will be on
Friday, July 9th from 1-4:00pm. Students
may take the exams on other dates, or at an approved testing location,
with permission of the instructor.
CATALOG COURSE DESCRIPTION
This course builds on the Introductory
Algebra foundation, deepening the study of some topics, and introducing
new ones. Topics include rational expressions, equations and
inequalities, graphing, relations and functions, radicals and rational
expressions, conics, and systems of equations. This course will include
use of a either a TI-83TM or TI-84TM graphing calculator.
