Lectern MicrophoneUsing the Microphones
Centinel Hill Hall Auditorium

LECTERN GOOSENECK MICROPHONE
The Lectern in Centinel Hill Hall is equipped with a fixed Gooseneck Microphone which becomes active as soon as the Crestron Control Panel is connected. The microphone is fairly sensitive, and will pick up your voice if you stand up straight at the Lectern (you do not need to lean in to the microphone). You may need to adjust the Volume by using the touch-screen buttons on the Crestron Control Panel. The microphone does not provide a booming sound, but just enough amplification to reinforce your voice to the audience.

Wireless MicrophoneWIRELESS CLIP-ON MICROPHONE
If you do not want to be fixed to the Lectern, but wish to roam the auditorium, use the Wireless Clip-on Microphone stored in the file cabinet in the Equipment Closet. It runs on 2 "AA" batteries, and has an On/Off switch. Turn it on, clip the transmitter to your belt or waisteband, and clip the microphone to your tie or lapel.
Wireless Mic Batteries

After extended use, the Wireless Microphone may need new batteries. Check the battery level indicator on the display window of the microphone transmitter box. If batteries are low, open the little door on the front of the mic to change them (requires 2 "AA" batteries).

Handheld MicrophoneWIRELESS HAND-HELD MICROPHONES
If your event requires other microphones (such as table mics for a panel discussion, or a mic for audience members to participate),Microphone Stands use the Handheld Microphones. They're wireless, so they can be used anywhere in the auditorium on a tabletop stand or floor stand, or simply held in your hand. Use the switch on the bottom of the microphones to turn them on and off. These microphones also run on 2 "AA" batteries, found inside the handle by unscrewing the lower half.

If necessary, you can adjust the Volume of all Microphones using controls along the left side of the Crestron Control Panel.

VERY IMPORTANT : ALWAYS remember to turn the Wireless Mics off and return them to the Equipment Closet when finished. DO NOT leave any Wireless Microphones unsecured and unattended in the Auditorium.
