Playing a DVD Movie
DVDs are played in the computer, and presented on the big screen with the multi-media projector. Log onto the computer and load your DVD into the CD/DVD drive. Wait about 10-15 seconds, and the computer will detect the DVD in the drive, then prompt you to select how you want to use it.
A pop-up window will appear on the computer monitor, with a list of options. Choose ”Play DVD Video using PowerDVD“ (or "Software DVD Player").The DVD player software will start-up, and you can now play your movie.
If the options window does not appear on the monitor, click on the "Start" menu in the lower left-hand corner of the monitor, then click ”All Programs,“ then click ”CyberLink PowerDVD,“ then click ”PowerDVD“ to start the DVD player software.
Once your DVD video is playing, you can control it with the computer's mouse functions. Right-clicking anywhere on the computer screen during playback will bring up a window of navigation options, such as Stop or Menu. When finished, be sure to turn off the projector, remove your DVD from the computer drive, and log-off the computer.
