15.1 Consistency: Pretest

A Pretest allows you to see what you need to concentrate on in the text.

Some of the sentences below include sentence elements that are not parallel. Other sentences use inconsistent pronoun points of view or inconsistent verb tenses. If you decide that a sentence shows inconsistency among its elements, write a capital I in the space following the sentence; if the sentence seems correct to you, write a capital C. Check each answer as you go along, and the computer will tell you if you are right or not.
