Writing Center
New! - Fall 2006
The Writing Center is a dedicated area within the Learning Center in which students receive practice and support at all levels of writing across the curriculum in a relaxed and welcoming environment. The Writing Center offers drop-in tutoring during designated hours, workshops, programs and instructional software designed to enhance students' writing competence while encouraging a greater interest in writing and emphasizing self-evaluation and independence.
The Writing Center will be open approximately 20 hours per week and will offer morning, afternoon and evening hours. Please call (860) 906-5200 for further details. The Writing Center is located in Room 409 on the fourth floor.
